Just a little fact about Bandogs : the breed is a combonation of breeds where they are trying to bring the Neopolitan mastiff back to its former glory before they got too big and wrinkly. (Which causes alot of health problems)
Neo's were originally war dogs, of course nowadays such a huge dog wouldnt possibly be able to fight in wars due to not being able to handle its own weight. Bandogs is where breeders are trying to decrease the size and excess skin of the neopolitan masstiff while still keeping its amazing nature. Bringing them back to the original molosser war dogs.
(of course bandogs are still huge, Spartacus is already 60 kilos and he'd not even a year old)
